Village Hall Privacy Policy

Wood Norton Village Hall is a Registered Charity, Charity Number 1082585, operated by a committee of voluntary trustees. Our function is to manage the administration and day-to-day running of the Village Hall, including hire of the Hall to local organisations, clubs and private individuals.  In addition, we organise social fund-raising functions for Wood Norton residents and those of the surrounding villages.

This privacy policy relates to your use of the Village Hall pages of the Wood Norton Village website, and concerns personal information we may ask you to supply in connection with your requesting information, hiring the hall or enquiring about our social events.  When we ask for this information we are required to have a legal basis for doing so, and your supplying us with such information implies your clear consent for us to process this for our specific purposes.

We are committed to ensuring that any personal data will be dealt with in line with the General Data Protection Act 2018.  To comply with the law, personal information will be collected and used fairly, stored safely and not disclosed to any other person unlawfully.

Hirers and attendees of functions at Wood Norton Village Hall may be asked for their name, address and/or contact telephone/email.
